I would like to invite you to join me on a journey. A journey on foot exploring the beauty of the world. On a journey with no fixed end, where the pleasure lies in searching for a responsible life that balances both nature and people.

My dream of nomadic life became a reality in July 2008. Walking without a fixed route or schedule my path led me across Europe to Morocco, to the edge of the Sahara desert and back again. Having clocked up 7,000 kilometres in my legs, I reached my home country, Austria, once more in Autumn 2010.

On this webpage you will find reports from my experiences on the road. These include stories about the magic of the journey, the beauty of nature, the touching personal encounters and the joyful essence of the simple life. What do you need for a happy life? I say a backpack and a hiking pole!
